This message is to notify you that in the past day, students or staff members at the Seneca Area School District have tested positive for COVID-19. We are actively working with the Crawford County Health Department to determine who may have been in close contact with those persons. As of this time, any persons who we feel were close contacts have been notified. If we find additional close contacts may have been made, we will make those persons aware at that time. We have no confirmed transmission of the virus within the school environment at this time.
So far this year, we have had 11 persons test positive for Covid while at school, and 9 have recovered.
All grades at the Seneca Area School District will go virtual for one week after Thanksgiving, beginning Monday, November 30 and thru Friday, December 4, to allow time before coming back to face-to-face instruction.
Monday, Nov 30 will be teacher inservice, with no instruction that day. Virtual classes will then be held the rest of the week, Dec 1 thru Dec 4.
We will return to school Monday, Dec 7. Please plan accordingly.

The live zoom meeting will be Tuesday, November 10th @ 6:00pm. If you are unable to view the meeting LIVE, it will be recorded/posted to the website & facebook page.
